How it works
Bionicly installs as a connected app in your Salesforce org using OAuth 2.0. Authentication scopes are read-only by default; write-back is opt-in per field and gated behind Bionicly's admin console.
Our connector pulls the Salesforce objects most relevant to relationship intelligence — Account, Contact, Opportunity, Activity, Task, Event, and custom objects you map — on a schedule you control.
Bionicly's insight engine joins that data with email, calendar, and public-web signals (news, filings) to generate daily relationship insights. The insights are delivered back to the right user via email, Slack, or the Bionicly UI — never into your Salesforce UI unless you enable write-back.
Data flows
- Account, Contact, Opportunity, Lead, Activity, Task, Event
- Custom objects you map via the Bionicly admin console
- Optional, opt-in: insight records written back as Task or custom object entries
- No writes by default — read-only at connector install time
Reads
- Account, Contact, Opportunity, Lead, Activity, Task, Event
- Custom objects you map via the Bionicly admin console
- User, Role, Territory (for entitlement + access scoping)
Writes
- Optional, opt-in: insight records written back as Task or custom object entries
- No writes by default — read-only at connector install time
Storage
Bionicly stores only the derived insight summaries and a minimal reference hash of source records in its tenant-isolated AWS environment. Raw Salesforce data is not warehoused.
